The gameplay is very similar to Far Cry 3 with more neon katanas and ninja stars. Think the exact opposite of the villain trailer for Far Cry 6: over the top violence played for laughs, not for shock. Serious to the point of hilarity, the entire game is played for laughs and is very over the top.

The main character of Blood Dragon is an action hero straight out of a movie like Die Hard or Escape from New York.
